The history of plastic blow molding in Chodos dates back to the first half of the last century, when the production of blow molding machines became our primary manufacturing program.
Products made by our machines are used by people all over the world. You surely know them too—from the legendary 'lemon juice bottle' to today’s Domestos, these are all products blow-molded by Chodos machines.
Design process
We always start with a paper and pencil. Based on the client's input, we launch the design process for a new bottle, strictly adhering to technical specifications and focusing on functional details.
We take into account ergonomics, stackability, and user comfort, while incorporating the aesthetic qualities of the client’s brand. Throughout the development, the design is regularly consulted and evaluated with the engineering team to meet production requirements. The result is a custom design of the blow-molded preform, including a license for repeated production.
Production possibilities
Our blow molding machines are designed to produce hollow containers in a wide range of volumes. We process various thermoplastics, including LDPE, HDPE, PVC-U, PP, and occasionally PET-G.
To ensure the highest quality of our bottles and semi-finished products, we use premium-grade plastic granulate specifically formulated for industrial blow molding and further processing.
