Blow molding machines are intended for the production of hollow bodies with different nominal volumes. Thermoplastics of the groups PE-LD, PE-HD, PVC-U, PP and in some cases also PET-G can be processed on blow molding machines.

 

The company CHODOS CHODOV s.r.o. is a historical manufacturer of blow molding machines. In 2017, the VA 521 was produced, the first of a new series of blow molding machines.

Blow molding machines have a fully welded, massive and rigid frame, which guarantees high accuracy of inserting the mandrel into the mold and precise setting of the parting plane of the mold thanks to the double synchronization of the mold closing. The blow molding machine consists of an extrusion machine, a blow molding unit, a hydraulic system, a pneumatic system and a control part. Blow molding machines are arranged as single-mold or two-mold. Blowing is from above, the movement of the mold carriage is horizontal.

 

The extrusion machines have screw diameters of 45, 60 and 80 mm and can alternatively be equipped with a grooved entry zone. The extrusion machine is equipped with continuous regulation of the screw speed.
