Curing presses for the production of passenger and truck tires
Mechanical curing presses of our own "Bagomatic" design are used for the simultaneous
vulcanization of two bias or radial tires, using either two-piece or segmented molds.
The vulcanizing press is designed as a double eccentric press with a main drive powered by a brake motor. Auxiliary drives are electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic. Vulcanizing presses are designed with either platen heating or chamber heating. Molding is carried out by means of a diaphragm.
Presses are equipped with a range of safety systems, such as strain gauges on the tie bars for measuring clamping force and safety pressure switches. Furthermore, the presses feature a valve manifold for the distribution of heating, pressure, and control media, a central lubrication system, on-press wiring, and an electrical cabinet with a control system. For handling tire blanks, a loader in either mechanical or pneumatic design is used. The unloading of the press is. ensured by an ejector.
