| Chodos mascot |
We are quite sure, you know the mascot of the Michelin company, a figure that is set together from tyres, whose name is Bibendum-abbreviated BIB, which has been thought out by Edouard Michelin, who had been inspired by a column of tyres during one of the exhibitions.
The CHODOS CHODOV Co. has been possessing its mascot too, named Chodosak (this means Chodos-man). Allow us please to introduce this symbol closer. In contradistinction to Bibendum, this is a real figure manufactured on our product, blow-moulding automatic machine. This figure is composed symbolically of products manufactured on our machines-beginning with shoes formed from cans, continuing with arms and legs made of extruded plastic tubes, the body built of a big barell up to a car tyre which serves as a smart collar looking a little like an Elizabethan one. Beside the advertizing, this figure has several uses and purposes: it is a toy for children or it is possible to use it like a moneybox. The mould was manufactured for testing of our new developped blow-moulding automatic machines many years ago. The mascot has obtained a lot of favour among general public. This accessory product has become without exaggeration a real unofficial symbol of our company.
